If you fancy someone, you can kind of see them every day. You don't have to like go take them to a bar to chat them up. If it was the right person, it would probably work. It might be a bit awkward. And what if it goes wrong? Because then you're going to be working with that person every day and it can be really embarrassing. How would you ask someone out without being put into the friend zone? Yeah. You've got to avoid the friend zone, if possible.
