The artemus accords insured that no matter how large or strong your space programm is, there was a way to integrate you into the programme. It still relatively broad or high level, but does imp ment the values of the outer space treaty. And the reason that was so important is that this is not star trek. This is not science fiction. We've got eclipse missions landing this year. We had several space craft around mars. And these rules of the road will help to insure that we have the peaceful and prosperous future in space that the us should see for children in generations ahead.
