How to Prepare for a Final Assessment

Students are not explicitly taught how to move to that next level from social academic language academic English. So we're still on the assessment piece and we've only done one of the strategies you differentiate in the book to between two different kinds of assessments. We just give one really super easy one that teachers can do like final exams might be coming up by the time this drops. This is a strategy that's probably going to be better for everyone in the class. There are lots of those kinds of ideas of chunking or adding visuals to the test.
