The Comment Section Doesn't Mean Much Now

I used to do this one day of lecture in my US history to course, where I put a lot of emphasis on people's history. The lectures, I wanted to be stuff that would help people understand that we didn't just appear in an intellectual vacuum out of nowhere. We went through a bunch of cycles to get to the things you see every day on TV, on the internet, whatever. So yeah, huh. But people haven't caught on to that yet. No, the comment does still mean something, but gradually people will figure out it doesn't.
