The Value of Working With a Dharma Teacher
I was just reflecting on this recently on Twitter about the value that I found in working with mature Dharma teachers, especially male teachers. And it gets back to what you were pointing out that sometimes we're fortunate to have close mentoring relationships where we really get to spend time with our teacher. But with Bill, that's what it was. He was my mentor. I was his student and it was hugely significant for me.
