Minn. has its own formal crisis response team so if you're not necessarily wanting to dial 911 there is often a community crisis response number for mental health that people can call where they'll be connected with their social worker or a psychologist or public health worker who is trained in triaging crises and connecting with local resources. Minnesota is better up than some other states if you can believe it as other states don't necessarily have that county crisis response infrastructure.
