Are Women Voters More Likely to Vote for Women Candidates?
I was always, we don't need all women's shortlists. But I think gradually what brought us around to was the fact that things weren't changing without all women'sShortlist. And then of course we had that election in 2015 where we had eight male MPs,. That just was for a party that prides itself on championing equality in all ways. You have to understand how their lives are affected every day. So Parliament has to reflect, for me, what society looks like.
