How to Optimize a MySQL Buffer Pool
The main reason I wanted to bring it up was not that I thought it was necessarily a great idea. It's more that we don't have one of the big downsides in this use case. So it just opens up that possibility that they might be a better idea than they would be generally. We usually don't have enough memory. The other bus is quite big and we try to optimize it. In this case, I would try to keep in the buffer pool as much as possible of our working set and materialize to use our our enemies in this case, right.
