The Three Forces of the Standard Model

Most physicists think there is probably some sort of grand unified theory built in the nature, but we don't know how to test it. The three forces have these three different strengths that seem unrelated to each other. But if you had supersymmetry, so you had all those extra particles that supersymmetry predicts and those particles aren't too heavy, then these temperatures, or these forces, their strengths, will evolve the temperature in a way where they all come to meet at a common value.
