Boethius wrote a book called the consolation of philosophy, where he describes philosophy appearing to him in the form of a woman. After boethius, christian neo platonic philosophers like john cott undertakea new projects of trying to analyze and categorize the entire world according to a platonica categories. But those are extremely physically complicated works, and i'm not going to get into the details. So basically, during the carolingian era, the era of charlemagne and afterwards, that sort of a neo platonic metaphysics has a period of a flourishing.
