I'm writing a book about the psychology of secrets, but that's only a working title. I get immense pleasure from mind wandering and plotting and scheming. One thing you'll read in every good psychology book is that emotions have a functional purpose. There's this view that we should try to eradicate emotions from our lives. They're here for a reason.
