The Guild's View on Mandatory Staffing
I read last night that Netflix hasn't cut the overalls yet. I wonder why they are hesitant there or if they're just trying to be the good guys here for a little bit. The writers want a level of mandatory staffing on shows, meaning you have to hire a certain amount of writers for a writer's room on a show. And the studio say that is not only not really feasible, but it's not antithetical to the creative process.
