The Silence of the Church in Heaven

Revelation chapter 8 verse 1 tells us there is silence in heaven. Silence for about half an hour. And without a sound seven angels appear and these seven angels are given seven trumpets. So why does this silence interrupt the celebration of the church in heaven? Well if we were to read the book of Revelation like it is describing a worship service the silence actually makes sense. It portrays prayer as an instrument that God uses to carry out his will.
