I think there are a lot of people that believe it's just intrinsically wrong to deceive others. And so I'm definitely sympathetic that is an error that we can make and it's a serious one. But in the broader picture, knowing that you can believe the things that other people are telling you is just of a great value. So I could I could make the case that maybe even in a narrow sense, lying might be the right thing to do. In fact, in the bigger picture, it would be harmful overall.
