The world is sort of in this weird position where things might look okay from a nominal perspective, meaning the number looks like it's above zero. But once we consider the real number as in adjusting for inflation, people are actually going backwards in terms of purchasing power. People see that 10% number and they think, what a great idea. They also don't want to take the risk associated with buying something like stocks.
