The NTSB's Reopening of the Aircraft Crash
Al Arrington worked as an engineer at Boeing. He developed computer models to prove a plane would float if it crashed into water. But he was also a climber with a lot of high alpine experience. When the NTSB announced that they were going to reopen the investigation, Arrington sprang into action. The team spent hardly any time acclimating, heading up the mountain almost immediately.
