A Brief History of the Nadal Salon
Jane nardal was one of the first black women to study at the soibonn. She wrote for a number of publications such as la de peche african, which ran from 19 28 to 19 32. Jane described this meeting in a letter to locke, who on some occasions attended the clament salon. As sangor reveals here, the lively atmosphere of the salon led directly to the creation of a new journal, la revieu de mont noir.
