How to Decide What You Want to Know

When you decide what to work on, how do you distinguish the ideas that you're really excited about and that you think it's worth going into from those that might not be so promising? It's very simple. There are things that i want to know, and i happen to know by reading the literature that they're not out there. The answers that i'm out there are not to be found in literature. And when you start to explain that to an adult referee panel, rit it starts to make very interesting text because then you can actually support your case.
