The Importance of Product Ownership in IT

The IT space is interesting because it has changed in the last few years from being rather project driven. I've been running into organizations that are asking for help with how do we think about the work we're doing as a product? We're generating a product really for internal customers, not for external customers like a lot of us are involved in. And I think that's a good change.
