Our microbiomes are significantly smaller. They're less exposed to nature. Every year there's new strains of viruses coming out of China and South Asia because of the level of stress we put on ecosystems. And so the pandemic can map right back to the highest, most intense stress levels in the food system. It would be one thing if they just traveled nationally, but no longer do as it turns onto carbon particulate in the atmosphere caused by pollution.
