The Netflix Strike and the Writers Guild

The writers Guild of America, WGA is on strike now and some people are calling this the Netflix strike. It's going to be a very long time. I feel like this is a case where the producers have used the change in economics to their advantage because the rules didn't change even though the actual way the game was played did change. We need to talk about the fact that we're not employed for 26 or 30 or 40 weeks a year on a show. We're now employed for 12 and there are half of us.
