The Problem With Wealth Taxes
I think the more people who own property, the better we are as a country. I'm a very big believer in the middle class and lower class being able to own property. The issue is with unrealized capital gains, you're taxing something that doesn't actually exist yet. Any time the government says, we're only going to tax people above a certain limit, they end up lowering that bar until eventually we're all paying that.
