The History of the Libyan Oil Company

The Libyan government granted concessions covering most of Libya to the major international oil companies. Among them was American overseas petroleum limited, an affiliate of Caltech's group of companies. Before geological exploration could begin, and to support it later, office staffs had to be recruited and trained. When lose or draw for the investors, the Libyan people were bound to benefit from fees and taxes.
