Do I Need to Write Non-Monetized Traffic Style Content?

In the last 12 months or so, you slowly started to pivot and start some new sites. The constant question with affiliate marketers is, do I need to write non monetized, non affiliate style content? Do you follow that across each year's sites? "I would say I don't really think about it too much"
