What Is Visible to You?

The social appearance of commodities we buy and the qualities we give them, that becomes what is important to us. The raw materials of nature that the commodities are made out of, the substance, well, that isn't even something we really think about. Take us another example of this, the movement of urbanization, where by the year 2050, 90% of people will be living in cities. That's yet another example of how we structure things in a way that cordon's off the human and the non-human worlds.
