Generosity Is a Body Satfer's Enlightenment
Gampopa quotes two texts, one which says, it's not ficult for a generous man to attain enlightenment. And even more powerfully, generosity is a body satfer's enlightenment. If you are genuinely generous, generous without stringsti good things will come. You will enrich your life. Note too, the quote that if you're not accustomed to being generous, you can forget about enlightenment. So why is this what's being got out here, when we need to remind ourselves of the nature of enlightenment? In buddhist tradition, attainment means seeing through the fiction of a fixed and separate self.
