When You Have Negotiations of Abandoned Betrayal, Where Are You?
LZ Granderson: I used to wake up in a panic, you know, and instantly my heart would be pounding. How do you negotiate that though, when, and I would assume that you also are coexisting with feelings of deep betrayal, abandonment, where are you? LZ: What we're trying to do is bring God into our minds by saying, in this depression, You are here with compassion and I'll sit in this with you. So what does that look like? He says it's the spiritual act of just turning toward God in those moments.
