Why Aren't You Paying Attention to the Core?
If you strip out food, energy, and shelter, that year over year inflation is only up 4%. That's still a big number. It's still double the Fed's 2% target. But now they don't even want to count that. They want to just look at the numbers excluding shelter,energy, and food. And there you had a rise of just 0.2 and the year over year rise was four.
