The Choice of a Woman in a Car Accident

i want to talk about the repeated refrain of choice in your novel. You start with a very deliberate line that's almost the same for each story. In one you say, and what, after all, to make of a choice with capital c? The other is: Choice is no more than a bas line that disappears in fierce wind. i'm hoping it makes the reader sort of interrogate the dea that one of these women is really having such a better time than the other.
