I remember to Twitter thread where Kent see DODS was talking about this last year and I actually just googled Can you see DODS config folder? There is one thing called cosmic config for tool authors to load in configs. TypeScript uses that pretty or uses it just islin babble That is really nice. Feet webpack. Don't use it. However, these tools will Allow you to pass in the location of your config file as an argument when you are running it. You could probably get pretty far maybe 90 95% putting it all on the config folder and having everything work.
In this Hasty Treat, Scott and Wes talk about what you can do to better organize your config files.
