J.G. Mellon went to an old school burger joint in New York City for the Google Pixel event. The place was a cash only place, so he knew he couldn't do tap to pay or anything like that. But there is this QR code on the receipt that apparently nobody uses and I can scan that and use my phone to pay. For some reason in America, we are so hesitant to this change. A lot of hassle, a lot of stress because we go with our phones everywhere,. but our wallets, increasingly, it's like that thing that you check for your phone.
