Statistical Significance Is a Measure of Precision

P-values and confidence intervals are ways to think about precision rather than hypothesis testing that's like the yes no test. I was teaching a sort of a remedial review session for my students who weren't understanding hypothesis testing it just wasn't clicking. The idea that a point estimate and a confidence interval are not the same thing is very obvious to me now.
