Game dev guild is completely online with an online Expo haul though. You can watch all the sessions on one side and then be in your other window running around chatting when the session part gets to something that you're not really interested in. There are lots of big groups and clusters of people having fun conversations and talking about different stuff. Even some of the sponsor booths that just get loaded up with people that are really interested in the things that they've got.
