The Existential Crisis Is Over
Johnson and Johnson announced it has agreed to pay $8.9 billion over 25 years to settle allegations its talcum products, including baby powder, caused cancer. In a regulatory filing, J&J says more than 60,000 claimants have committed to support the proposed resolution. Company also says its subsidiary LTL management has refiled for 11,. adding that neither the original filing nor this refiling is an admission of wrongdoing, nor an indication that J&J has changed its long-standing position.
