The Lord's Prayer

Prayer is where i recover god's identity and my own, but it's equally the place where i recover the identity of every one else. I so easily forget the sacredness of others. When our trust in god is fractured, our intimacy with one another is, in turn, fractured. Abraham joshua heschel says much of what the bible demands can be comprised in one word, remember.
