The Instagram Quiet Time

We have this expectation that we need 30 minutes and a perfect quiet day or morning to meet God deeply. And I want you to step back from that and ask where is that in Scripture? Let's look at some of the great saints in Scripture and even throughout church history. Not a lot of them had a candle for a nice environment and a cozy armchair when they were seeking the Lord. Many of them didn't even have access to a Bible in the form that we have it. They had to store up that knowledge in their mind and keep it with them and then approach the Lord in prayer.
