Women and Gender Diverse People in Housing
Ms. Orela: We are looking for a grant program from the federal government and not only for permanent affordable housing, but also emergency shelters and transitional housing. The YWCA believes in centering not only women, but also gender diverse folks in our work because it's not only women that experience gender-based violence. So really looking forward to what the government will commit in the next budget.
