Is Theology a Doctrinal Matter or a Political Issue?
A pro-life Muslim might find common cause with evangelicals, but that doesn't mean they're evangelical. If a theological system espouses a view of morality or politics others agree with, this is not evidence of the politicization of faith; it's non-sectarianism. An evangelical Christian believes in the exclusivity of Jesus Christ as the physically resurrected Son of God and who under normal circumstances attends church services every week.
