The Reality of Analyzing Data for Science

There are a number of things that I've seen recently where I think oh man, it would be really cool to analyze that data. It's not just hard because people are conservative though. People recognize that getting their data into a form where they can share it with somebody else is really hard. The idea that I might be the only person that can understand my crazy like abbreviations and language that I've used to sort of structure my data or my experiments may just be a roadblock for me.
