Isn't That a Misnomer?
Cinnamon has been used from everything, from a flavor for wine to your breath. It's also been used for the preservation of dead things that we will later eat. cinnamon was once thought to be antibacterial so you can put a bunch of cinnamon on meat and that will help preserve the meat. Turns out things still get into it. The meat still goes rotten.
