In the Orthodox church, this is a non issue. This is really not a problem. And we have of course, unfortunately been affected by Western narratives on this topic. If they claim scripture is infallible and then everything is there and scripture is necessary, scripture itself doesn't mean that it is not the word of the Christian. That kind of a Western captivity as Father George Faurovsky called it in terms of r theology. In other words, by the Holy Spirit in the church, it is vital, the vital crystallizing center.
