"My parents from early on I think saw how much Jean meant to me that meeting her brought a sense of me alive they hadn't seen before." "I was always extremely intelligent and bright but low and self-esteem and not being able to find that friendship that I was looking for. And so when Jean came into my life my parents were thrilled and delighted because they saw me emerging as a happier woman," she says.
