Lent, Lent Is the Time When Things Pull Back a Bit

Lent is the time when things kind of pull back a bit, and I think Lent is kind of supposed to be a failure. We're powerless to self-perfect. That doesn't mean we should. But there's something deeper about the conformity to Christ in a deeper dependence on Him.
