Behind the Bastards

CHAPTER

The End of Action Park

Action park closed its gates in 1996. Two years later, the ski resort and the park grounds were bought by another amusement park company named intro west. Most of the old Jerry or Rick attractions were ripped out and it was renamed Mountain Creek. In 2010, intro west itself had to declare bankruptcy and sell mountain creek, water park and the ski resort. Gene who was now in his late 70s decided he wanted his theme park back. So he led a group of investors to gain control of the park again and he succeeded. But as of 2018, mountain creek was still in like 28 million dollars in debt to the state.
