Climate Change

Carbon capture technology, which works by capturing carbon before it can reach the atmosphere, has proved to be extremely disappointing. The good news is that we've already reached a point of calamity great enough that support for this sort of solution is probably past its peak. For years, climate scientists have been attacked as alarmists, yet the growing census is that they were actually too conservative with their warnings. Many scientists worry that if disagreement is publicly aired, government officials will conflate differences of opinion with ignorance and use this justification for inaction.
