I reluctantly am very excited about space travel. I think what got me excited was I saw a panel with some people who study other planets and it became really clear how little we know about ourselves. And so to that extent, I'm like all for research on humanoid robots, development of humanoid robots. But if you care about social robotics, the humanoid form is a distraction. So you think it might be a little bit of a distraction. It does take resources and attention away from other areas of robotics that we should be focused on but I don't think we shouldn't do it.
