There's a apolonius of Tiana he was I think contemporary to all the to this like it's this late NT you know wonder worker. He has a text called the Apologia where he gives his own defense in court and again trying to reconstruct the social context here. There's also Apollaus who gets put on trial for magic. The family's very pissed off. They say, this guy's obviously trying to steal our money. So they bring the charge of magic against him. Presumably he won the case because as far as we know, he wasn't executed or put in jail or something because of this. But it's interesting the rhetorical moves he tries to make defending
