The Non-Code Side of the PSF

Carlton: The PSF also participates on behalf of Python for Google Summer of Code and our volunteers do a great job of that. But I feel it's always about building a balance between how you're spending your work supporting volunteers, managing volunteers and actually doing the work that you're supposed to be doing outside of that. Ava: We've been lacking or at least lacking in the visibility of to the rest of the world, if that makes sense. And so recently, Google gave us funding to hire that position for a year.
