The Death Blow to Open Theism and Universalism
Greg Boyd seems to be coming out more and more as a convinced universalist. He's of the opinion now that what's destroyed is not the person's per se, but institutions and the sinful nature. So I think here I'm reminded of Eleanor Stump who in wandering in darkness, she asked the question, does God hate people? And she said that I think that God's hating of people can be compatible with God's loving of people. If it is suchgod willing ill for someone as well as good for them at the same time then we're all ultimately saved.
