Research has shown that you need to have 16 points of contact with the same person. So I think if you look at who you would class as a relationship, how many times have you met them? Are they an advocate? Are they a coach? Are they just someone that will respond to you now? And again, there's different strengths and relationships, I would say. Someone leaving is not the worst thing, because you could end up signing a new client if you've done a good job.
